It refers to the complaint against Principal Agent like us, we want to clarify you that before taking IRCTC authorization from us, we clearly mention this to the agent that we, the Principal Agent, abide by all the rules & regulations of IRCTC and we will not be responsible if any illegal case happens with agent by his own fault.

We send the agent emails regarding Agent Service Charges & IRCTC rules & regulations so that the agent could go through all the detail and believe that there is no hidden fact or charge in the registration procedure.

We are Principal Agent under ICS or Internet Cyber Cafe' Scheme of IRCTC and not a web-based portal. Agents are able to book tickets only through www.irctc.co.in website. They have to install the Digital Signature Certificate and after that can enter the page of Agent Login.

We use RDS as our Payment Gateway and the charges of it is as per IRCTC norms. .75% P.G.charge on booking of below Rs.2000/- and 1% P.G.charge on booking of above Rs.2000/-.

In the ticket print out the ticket fare, IRCTC charge, P.G.charge and Agent service charge are clearly mentioned.

We are receiving complaints from our members that some Principal agents are not giving the agents service charges for train ticket bookings (As per IRCTC norms Rs. 10 for 2S and SL and Rs. 20 for higher classes) to the retail agents. Our members are facing this issue when they book tickets from Web based/ Desktop software provided by principal agents.

We request you to give us the details of Payment gateway charge, Agent service charges collected by you for booking different classes of Train tickets (For Web based/ Desktop software) and the agent service charges given to the retail agents who actually booking the tickets.

We expect a fair and transparent reply from your side immediately.
